Through Jewish Eyes

More likely than not, at some point or another, most believers outside Judaism have heard something like this:

"The Jews have been blinded by God to see the truth."

People have drawn conclusions as such mainly from verses in the New Testament.

Is the above statement accurate?

Do you know if the above statement is in fact true or have you just believed it long enough that it must be true?

Have Scriptures been taken out of context to support such statement?

Be this as it may, by presenting the following articles, our intention is to give an opportunity to get familiar with our Jewish brothers and sisters' views in a variety of subjects and their way of life. After all, it is from the religion of Israel that Christianity, at the end of the 1st and beginning of the 2nd Century CE, was one of the many sects and eventually broke off as a separate religion. It would be best if we leave any prejudices within us, knowingly or unknowingly, and understand Jewish views in accordance with their history and not with what's been taught us about the Jewish people.

A great place to start is understanding some of the central beliefs in the life of the Jewish people throughout history, that are of utmost importance.
