One Stick Study Den
Ezekiel 37: 15-19
"The word of YHWH came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into One Stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? Say unto them, Thus saith the Adonai YHWH: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them One Stick, and they shall be one in Mine hand."
Welcome
This is a place for those few people who are serious about worshiping our Father in Spirit and Truth. These studies are not presented to condemn anyone. Nor are they presented to promote some denomination nor to make converts. It is our hope however, to instill a hunger for Scriptural Truth and that anyone reading the materials therein would thoroughly search out for themselves in depth the relevant topics here presented. Though we are not perfect, nor the pope, we do believe the Spirit of YHWH reveals things. The viewpoints presented are not what is called "mainstream", but when in history has the majority ever been right? So if you believe we are in error in any way, please let us know. We want to know truth as well. We are pleased that we are able to study the Word of Life and shared it. We pray that your hunger for Truth never fades.
Note: It is important to know that in the articles within One Stick Study Den the following have been restored when possible and as follow:
When speaking in reference to the Almighty Heavenly Father, the title "The LORD" is not used specially when quoting the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures, Christian "Old Testament") where is restored to "YHWH". "The LORD" may appear if quoting or presenting someone else's view and writing which might contain it. "The LORD", is a title used to substitute His name, YHWH, in translations. A close examination of the Third Commandment will reveal the use of "the Lord" to be inaccurate. (see Table of Contents)
The word "God" might be used throughout the studies except when quoting the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) where is restored to "Elohim" or any variant of it depending on what the Hebrew text might have. The word "God", meaning "idol" or "anything worshipped", is a translation that has been used to represent the Hebrew words El, Eloah or Elohim as they appear in the Hebrew Text. "God" may be used as to not cause confusion in some studies. "God" may also appear if quoting or presenting someone else's view and writing which might contain it. All of them, El, Eloah and Elohim, have a common meaning, "mighty (one)" as well as a lot more meanings depending of whom or what is referring to in accordance to the context.
When speaking in reference to the anointed and great Jewish teacher (rabbi), the name "Jesus" is not used when quoting scriptures. "Jesus" may be used in some studies as to not cause confusion. To make the difference between the two ways "Jesus" is viewed, "Jesus" is used to point to "the deified Jesus" of Christian doctrine and "Yahushua" is used to point to the man of history. "Jesus" may appear if quoting or presenting someone else's view and writing which might contain it. His name, more than likely, "Yahushua" is used instead when possible, because to be sure, "Jesus" could not have been his name.
